SENIOR ENGINEER / DEPARTMENT MANAGER
Design & Integration is a growing audiovisual contracting company located in Baltimore. We specialize in high-end commercial audio visual (A/V) system sales and installations. Currently we are seeking an experienced A/V Systems Engineer to join our team. Ideal candidates will have at least 5 years experience in the commercial A/V contracting industry as well as a bachelor’s degree in a related field. The Engineer will be a strong team leader with a commitment to excellence. A proven ability to manage a team successfully and cooperatively.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Manage engineering staff, establish guidelines, and maintain high quality standards
• Engineering and design of large-scale commercial audio, video, and control systems
• Promote academic component utilizing continuing education and professional trade association participation.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• 5-10 years experience in an A/V engineering position
• Bachelor’s degree in related field required, CTS-D or related industry certification preferred.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, DSP Programming, Control Systems, System Test and Measurement
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, written and oral
• Ability to efficiently complete projects within allotted time, independently determine and set priorities and effectively manage work schedule to produce measurable and valuable results.
